Recruitment and hiring suffered in the past years a total makeover.

Traditional recruitment practices are no longer satisfying the future of work needs - making companies reconsider how they discover and attract new talent.

For global recruiting, remote hiring, fair selection, integration of AI, evolving skills, D&I, out of the box solutions are used.

By the "survival of the fittest" principle one should use a more complex approach. The old ways of recruiting are no longer the only ways. The traditional ways of recruiting alone can cause missing out on top candidates and fail behind competition.

As no one wants this to happen, here you are some shortcuts I found useful in my daily work:

  • take advantage on decreasing industries, of companies laying off people, cooling labor areas;
  • when possible, focus on internal hiring and promoting;
  • hire for skills, competencies, attitude, not positions whenever possible;
  • be open to new technologies and ways of candidate presentations. Don't rely your hiring only on standardized resumes;
  • stay tunned with remuneration packages and flexible benefits in your area and line of business.
